This week, filmmaker J.J. Abrams gives his long-awaited Marvel Comic debut as co-author Spider-Man along with his son Henry (with art by Sara Pichelli, Elisabetta D & # 39; Amico and Dave Stewart) – and that's not it the story of Spidey you can expect.
Spider-Man # 1
Spoiler ahead for Spider-Man # 1.
Spider-Man # 1 opens in New York City with Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson Amid the apparent destruction of Cadaverous, the series' mysterious new villain. When Peter gets beaten and bloody against Cadaverous, the villain reaches for MJ and impalns her – obviously he kills her immediately.
At their funeral it became known that Peter and MJ had a son – Ben – who is now without a mother. After a 12-year leap, we meet the now youthful Ben Parker, who lives with Aunt May, while Peter, who now has an arm prosthesis after the fight with Cadaverous, travels around the world as a journalist.
] But of course, not everything is as Ben seems. He has problems at school and develops strange skills – not so far from his father's. While May tries to get him to talk to her, Ben sneaks into the attic and searches his father's old stuff.
And there he finds Peter's old Spider-Man suit under the attic scrape, torn and torn apart when his mother died.
Given Marvel's signal in other Spider-Man titles and future commercials, Spider-Man seems to be an alternate reality story.
Spider-Man # 2 is due October 16.
