A pilot from Myanmar landed after landing a jet without front wheels The equipment could not be used.
The Myanmar National Airlines plane slid down the runway at Mandalay airport before it came to a halt.

Captain Myat Moe Aung circled the airport twice to allow air traffic controllers to determine if the landing gear had failed. the airline said.
The plane had left Yangon and approached Mandalay when the pilot could not extend the front landing gear. He followed emergency measures and burned excess fuel to reduce the weight of the aircraft, the airline said. The plane slid for about 25 seconds before stopping.
"The pilot has done a great job," said Win Khant, the transport minister of Myanmar, told Reuters.
The incident was the second air accident in Myanmar this week. On Wednesday, a plane from Biman Bangladesh Airlines slipped off the runway when it landed in Yangon International Airport in bad weather and injured at least 17 people.
