Another thing I liked about Go was the keyboard. The original Pixelbook was praised for its comfortable and quiet keyboard. As Ben Janofsky, product manager at Engadget, said, the company still wanted to make sure the new Chromebook had an even better keyboard. The team adopted the original Pixelbook setup and worked on it for two years to improve it. I enjoyed typing – the space bar is noticeably quieter than my ThinkPad and the original pixelbook. The buttons themselves were comfortable and had a pleasantly quiet feedback. I wish there was only a bit more room for maneuver as I got used to the generous keys on my ThinkPad.
Like the original pixelbook, the buttons of the Go glow from behind, though they are subtle enough that you do not notice the lights unless you are in a dark environment. Beneath the keyboard is a spacious trackpad that was as appealing in my short tests as before and no longer flush with the edge of the keyboard.
The Go has a 1

Details were generally clear. My only complaint regarding the display is that I wish it was brighter – it would be a bit hard to read in sunlight.
If the Go's screen were brighter, Google might not be able to meet the 12-hour runtime it promises. That's two hours more than the 10 hours that the company estimated for the original Pixelbook, although my colleague Nathan Ingraham said in his review that this machine only lasts about six hours under normal workload. At least Google thought it was a good idea to provide the Go with a fast charge that would give you two hours of juice twenty minutes after it was plugged in.
As with the original Pixelbook, you can charge the Go via one of the two USB-C ports. Apart from the headphone jack, there are no other jacks here. So you should invest in a hub.
With the right configuration, the PixelBook Go is a powerful Chromebook in a simple yet functional suit. Best of all, it starts at $ 649, compared to $ 999 in the original. For this price, the Go comes with an Intel Core m3 processor of the eighth generation, 8 GB RAM, a 64 GB SSD and a Full HD display. You can buy a Core i5 processor, more RAM, and storage for more money. However, if you want to use the 4K screen, you have to buy the most expensive model for $ 1,399. This configuration comes with a Core i7 chip and a 256 GB SSD. Similarly, certain Chromebooks from Acer, HP, and Lenovo cost approximately the same, giving or taking about $ 100.

Also the price is so dramatic, but the competition from your own partners is tough The last one and a half years are in the industry premium chrome ebooks from brands like Acer, Lenovo, Samsung and HP surfaced. Most of them cost between $ 500 and $ 600, although Lenovo's 15-inch model costs $ 750. This multitude of high-end Chromebooks offers consumers more options. So, if you're looking for a 3: 2 screen or a glass paneled device, you can find one. The proliferation of premium Chromebooks also shows that the industry is taking Chrome OS seriously as a desktop platform. Therefore, it is a good time for Google to deliver a pixelbook whose price is not prohibitive. You can pre-order the 649- and 849-dollar Pixelbook Go today in black or put yourself on the waiting list for the Not Pink models.
