Sony was not on E3 this year and may never return. Although it was not present in any form or in any form at the E3 2019, it was still the third most popular publisher at the show, after only Xbox and Nintendo, both of which were in their usual capacity. According to Twitter data, Nintendo was the most discussed publisher, Xbox the second largest and PlayStation the third largest.
According to Twitter, the five regions that talked the most about E3 were the US, Japan, England, France, and Spain. The most talked about moment on Twitter was the Nintendo press conference, which featured the gameplay of Luigi's Mansion 3 (19459005), the unveiling of A (19459004) Nimal Crossing: New Horizons (19459005), for the Banjo-Kazooie Super Smash Bros. Ultimate announced the announcement of a legend of Zelda: breath of wild sequel and more.
Behind Nintendo is not Marvel's Avengers or Final Fantasy VII Remake or even the entire Xbox conference, but Keanu Reeves's as Cyberpunk 2077 character was debunked and entered the Xbox E3 stage to betray the release date of the game. Behind Keanu Reeves were Marvel's Avengers and Final Fantasy VII Remake .
How PlayStation secured its place as the third most popular publisher is probably because most of the games shown at the show came on the PS4 or PS5. It may not have a conference, but almost every big game of the show will be shown on the PlayStation 4.
It remains to be seen if Sony will return to E3 next year for the E3 2020 or not. This year, the show showed that Sony needs more than Sony needs. With the release of the PS5 next year most likely, I'm sure that Sony wants to return to the biggest show of video games to talk about the system and reveal the upcoming games.
You can always leave a comment and let us know what you think. What was your game in the series and which publisher did you think won the E3 this year?
