Have you ever traveled and met a celebrity, someone you've just heard of, and perhaps watched on TV or online while you've been watching what's new? Me, personally, no, but this guy, PokemonDoctorYT, was fortunate to meet Niantic's CEO, John Hanke, who designed Ingress, Pokemon Go, and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite (still in development) twice in a row. Lucky dude, right?
PokemonDoctorYT shared his story on Twitter when he met John Hanke for the first time:
– Doctor PoGo TL40x4 – Road to 100 Million (@PokemonDoctorYT) 26 April 2018
So this is their "first date", feelings are everywhere, hearts are fast (well, Hankes heart not so much like our lucky ones) when suddenly they both realized they were late for a meeting ( that's my guess). At that moment, they just shake hands and the rest is a story. Wait, that sounds like a love story, right? Wait a minute, there will be much more.
Meeting the guy once was a great opportunity to take a selfie and immediately share it on social media, but then you realize that you wanted to ask him something really bad, and you just missed the chance.
The meeting is over now, so you go to the next flight, with a thought in mind, Oh, I missed my chance with John Hanke! Then go on board and guess who is sitting next to you? John Hanke!
Guess who I met on the plane again.
Thanks again John Hanke for your time the whole flight. Awesome conversation. @PokemonGoApp @trnrtipps @ReversalYouTube @ProdigiesNation @MYSTIC7 @PkmnMasterHolly @PogoKieng pic.twitter.com/9ByvmUbd7T – Doctor PoGo TL40x4 – Road to 100 Million (@PokemonDoctorYT) April 28, 2018
But this time the Doctor is strong and Hanke can not escape! There are so many questions, I do not know what to ask first, and in the end you come to the final results and share them with one of your friends, Reversal who posted it then Twitter:
- It Maps are being used to make it more raid friendly
- Gen 4 / PvP is being processed
- Level cap is being increased
These were just key points in their conversation and after a while, we found out what was 100% confirmed is:
- The game is being balanced
- New articles are being presented
- PokeStop submission is on its way
- You will be stricter when it comes to spoofing Go Hard Part 2 incoming
So it looks like John Hanke and his team at Niantic are going through some hard times this year to make everything possible.
What do you want to see first? If you ask me, I will choose PvP and Level Cap.
