Pokemon Go: Last chance to catch Legendary Lugia

The end of the month is fast approaching, which means that Pokemon Go players have only a few days left to see their current Legendary. The Pokemon Silver mascot Lugia is expected to leave the game on April 2 and will be the last chance to add one to your collection in the foreseeable future.

Lugia was one of the first legends to be introduced to Pokemon Go and was originally named Raid Battle Boss last summer alongside another legendary bird, Articuno. Niantic reintroduced Lugia back into the game earlier this month, though players will find that it's a bit different from their original run.

As before, players will encounter Lugia as a raid battle at tournaments. This time, however, he knows the "newly improved" Flying-Type Sky Attack. Lugia should also be easier to conquer than it originally was, although you still have to beat it first to get this opportunity. In our guide you will find tips on how to catch Lugia.

Niantic has not announced that Lugia will return to the game in the future, but it would not be a surprise. Legendaries have re-emerged in Pokemon Go after their first run, most recently Groudon and Kyogre, both of whom returned as Raid bosses during the Legendary Week event last month.

April 2 also marks the day Pokemon Go's Easter Eggstravaganza ends. Until then, pokemon, which usually hatch from 5km or 1

0km eggs, such as Wynaut or Ralts, can be hatched from 2km eggs. Players receive extra candy for each egg they hatch during the event.
