The police and prosecutors are looking for a boy to be harassed on Sopot beach. A witness informed the service about the incident. The suspect of another sexual act of a minor was detained and – on court decision – detained. Now the uniforms try to reach the caretaker of the victim.
Policemen of the Sopot Municipal Police Department are conducting proceedings under the supervision of the Procuratorate for committing another sexual act against an undetermined minor under the age of 15. The incident occurred on July 22 of this year. Near the beach entrance in Sopot no. 26.
As we have unofficially discovered, the incident was witnessed by a witness and reported to the police. However, he did not do so at the time it happened (because he was on the beach as well) just a moment later. Therefore, the victim was no longer at the scene when the officers took up their duties. And his guardian of the services has not yet notified. From here, he is asked to contact the police.
̵1; A suspected 44-year-old man without a permanent residence was arrested in the case that was allegedly charged with having committed another sexual act against an undetermined minor on the basis of the evidence collected. By decision of Sopot district court, the suspect was detained in custody – informed Asp. Lucyna Rekowska, spokeswoman for the police of Sopot.
The perpetrator was identified because, as it turned out, the police had already received reports of his abusive behavior.
– The man was arrested, did not plead guilty, but did not rule out that this was the case – informed prok. Grażyna Wawryniuk, spokeswoman for the district prosecutor's office in Gdansk.
The investigators request the guardianship of a minor and any witnesses of the incident, at the headquarters of the city police in Sopot in Ul.
