More than 35 years ago, 15-year-old Emanuela disappeared into the Vatican. Since then, the services have searched unsuccessfully for their body. A few days ago, the Guardian reported that the girl's family had been informed that the remains of the child were in the tombs of two nineteenth-century German princesses in the cemetery of Teutonic Collegiate College. After opening, however, it turned out that the tombs are empty. There were neither remains of Emanuela nor princesses of the 19th century.
However, the Vatican spokesman said that while working on the college under the sidewalk, two ossuars were found – containers holding human remains.
Now the media reports that thousands of human bones were in the leg knuckles. Next week, the remains will undergo thorough research, including genetic research
The discovery of the specialists was accompanied by the sister of the missing Emanuela ̵
– It was an intense experience. The awareness that this could be my sister's ashes confessed to the woman.
