Police charge charges for "cleanable" photos from the fire zone PARADISE, California, – Police in Northern California say they will pursue criminal charges against a worker to clean up forest fires, taking photos of themselves on demolished land.

has posted. Officers in the devastated city of Paradise said on Saturday that Rob Freestone's photographs and accompanying signatures were "unacceptable and reprehensible."

One shows a smirking freestone with a flowerpot charred in front of a home Another shows him jumping on a burnt-out trampoline with the caption: "Trampolines are stupid … It used to be called the Jumpoline until your mother came up with it . "

A photo shows two people who burned in the remains of a motorhome sitting with the caption: "They embark on an entertaining [sic] vacation to unknown destinations in their new motorhome."

Another photo shows a dead cat with a beer bottle bearing this caption: "Dude … I just tortured my homies, had a couple of cold ones and BAM … damn fire breaks out." (Warning: graphic photo).

Freestone and two other workers involved in the incidents last month were fired by Bigge Crane and Rigging. The company described their behavior as a "monstrous insult."

Freestone could not be reached for comment.

A police spokesman says investigators will determine if crimes have been committed.
