A popular site for the presidential candidate of 2020, Joe Biden, was apparently created by a Republican agent to mock the former vice president.
At first glance, JoeBiden.info looks like a pro-Biden website and even sells T shirts with its face on it.
But on closer inspection, the posts on the site ridicule the Democrats with gifs showing how they affect women and criticisms of his political record, including his rejection of court-ordered bus traffic in the 1970s and a vote against abortion law in 1982.
A disclaimer at the bottom of the site states that it is "for entertainment and political comment only, and therefore is protected under fair use." It is a project "FROM AN American citizen FOR US citizens.
The New York Times reported Saturday that the site was actually created by an American who does not support Biden.
The paper states that Republican strategist Patrick Mauldin is making videos and more digital content for President Trump's reelection is behind the site.
