The national influenza vaccination campaign ends on 31 May and the Ministry of Health's latest assessment shows that only 63.4% of the target population was vaccinated across the country.
21.8 million people visit health centers to protect themselves from influenza viruses such as H1N1.
Among the countries with the highest vaccination rate is Amazon, first with 93.6%. Amapá follows with 85.5% and Rondônia with 72.6% in fifth place.
Among the states with the lowest coverage, Acre is 45.8% behind Rio Janeiro with 45 third followed by Roraima with 57% and Pará with 59.2%.
In Acre, for example, the low index, according to Manager, is related to population rejection of Renata Quiles' influenza vaccine from the State Immunization Department.
Renata announced that the state must implement a new day D of v against influenza before ending the campaign.
