Tesla decided to discontinue some versions of its models and generally adjust prices to simplify its offerings and increase sales.
In this reformulation, the manufacturer led by Elon Musk ended the Model S and Model X "Standard Range" versions and restricted their offering to the "long range" versions and the more expensive "performance". 
The discontinuation of the "Standard" versions implies an increase in the base price of these two models to $ 84,990 for Model X and $ 79,990 for Model S without any incentives.
In addition to this change, Tesla lowered the base price for Model 3 to $ 38,990.
"To make the purchase of our vehicles even easier, we standardize our global vehicle range and simplify the number of refining packages for the S, X and 3 models," Tesla announced. in a statement quoted by Reuters. "We are also adjusting our prices to further improve accessibility for our customers."
In addition to revising the available versions and prices, Tesla also changed the standard color of vehicles from black to white, as announced by Elon Musk last month.
However, the manufacturer did not introduce monochrome white as the standard color, but the white pearl, which was previously available for an additional $ 1
Earlier this month, Tesla announced that worldwide deliveries of its three models in the second quarter of this year rose 51% from the previous three months to a record 95,200 vehicles. Model 3 accounted for approximately 80% of the total, highlighting the role of this model as the key axis of Tesla's growth strategy.
The manufacturer continued to be confident that production and deliveries will continue to increase in the third quarter.
