Musician Post Malone and Andrew Watt were two of 16 passengers aboard a private plane that crashed safely into New York after two of the aircraft's left tires exploded at launch.
"I landed people", Malone – Austin Post – tweeted shortly after his return to the ground. "Thank you for your prayers."
Malone's Manager Dre London also published his Insta Story. "Circling the air for hours, but we're good, goods were good, we landed safely," he said. "I've heard it's all over the news and how crazy it is."

The plane was to fly to London Luton in Luton, England, but the incident resulted in an emergency landing near the launch site. This landing was originally expected at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, but the FAA confirmed that it was diverted to the Westfield Barnes regional airport in Springfield, Massachusetts before escaping back to Stewart International Airport at New Windsor, New York an emergency landing. The plane landed smoothly, although the left tires were clearly emptied. Soon after, Malone and his entourage were discovered talking to first-aiders on the ground.
There were a total of 16 people aboard the plane, the pilot of the plan confirmed in aircraft received audio from TMZ.
Politico Ryan Hutchins reports that of these people was the 23-year-old Malone, though Reps for the singer and guitarist did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comments. Malone will perform on Friday at the Reading Festival in Reading, England.
