MILWAUKEE – A spokesman for the Milwaukee Bucks in a statement to FOX6 News Sunday, May 12, confirmed an investigation into Reports of adverse effects of some people who consumed Moscow mules outside the Fiserv forum on Wednesday, May 8 during the Bucks / Celtics matchup.
The explanation was as follows:
To ensure a safe experience for each guest, we conducted a thorough investigation. Our first investigation revealed no foreign substances added to the Moscow Mule beverage lot. As a precaution, we also hire an independent accredited laboratory to ensure the accuracy of our initial assay results and send a sample to the Milwaukee Police Department. Until the investigation is complete, we have removed all pre-made cocktails from our menu and are providing additional training to improve the safe alcohol service for all employees.
A woman sent an email to FOX6 News on Sunday morning saying she participated in the game on Wednesday, drinking two Moscow mules at the Fiserv forum and "getting drunk very quickly". She said she had a memory loss and left the game before the end and wrote, "I do not remember why I left." She said she made it home safely when her sister came and picked her up.
