The Prince of Wales seems to be a wedding planner in his spare time. Prince Charles helped Meghan Markle plan her wedding to Prince Harry. Actually, he helped with an important royal wedding detail that made the ceremony all the more amazing. According to People Markle reports in the exhibition "A Royal Wedding: Duke and Duchess" at Windsor Castle about a wedding in a personal audio recording. The exhibition also shows Markle's wedding dress and Harry's uniform for the public.
As Markle says in the audio guide,
"We've worked pretty much with the Prince of Wales, who has an incredible taste in classical music, and it was really fun to spend some time with him."
It's all thanks to Charles and his "unbelievable taste" that director Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir sang their beautiful rendition of "Stand by Me" at the wedding. Someone in Charles's team helped organize a meeting between the Royal couple and the choir. Without Charles, he knows if the chorus was ever engaged on a special day by Markle and Harry.
Regarding the title song by Ben E. King, Markle reveals in her exhibition recording: "A song that was very meaningful to us:" Stand By Me ", but we wanted the gospel to have a lot of soul."
As soon as The Kingdom Choir began singing on May 1
That's what I feel My life is completely different than two or three months ago. "Gibson told CBS News. She adds, "That's fine, I'll tell you why it's beautiful, not because people know who I am, because they rarely know my name, but because you can see from their answers, you can see that too . " In their eyes, they really are so sincere, you know, when they say, "Thank you."
As for the song that Markle went down the aisle, George Frideric Handel's "Eternal Light Source Divine" performed by Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas is as meaningful to the couple as "Stand By Me". However, Charles did not choose the song, Harry did, People reported in October.
"[It] was Harry's choice and I think it's a really nice piece," says Meghan in the tour's audio file. "I can trace it all the way back through the corridor and hear it, it's really so special for us, and I think it's one of the things we'll cherish forever."
Harry also talks about the song in his own exhibition Recording, in which he sweetly says, "Wherever we are, whatever we do, we can close our eyes, hear that music, and put ourselves right back in that moment is a nice thing for both of us. " It's probably safe to say that both Harry and Charles have an "incredible taste" in music. Their musical selection made the wedding day of Markle and Harry even more memorable.
