When Meghan first joined the royal family, tabloids reported that the Duchess of Sussex could not cope with her new sister-in-law Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge. However, over the months, royal fans noticed signs of tension between another royal couple – Prince William and his younger brother, Prince Harry.

According to reports, the feud first began in 2016 when Prince William Prince Harry expressed concern that the red-haired king was moving too fast in his romance with Meghan. Needless to say, Prince Harry ignored Prince William’s advice to slow down and married Meghan in May 2018.

It seems as if their feud will worsen the next year and the siblings separate their homes. Prince Harry even separated from the mutual charity that he and Prince William had shared. In late 2019, Prince Harry even confirmed in an interview with Tom Brady that they had had an argument and admitted that they had different opinions on some things.

Why did Prince Harry move to LA?

In January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan shocked the world when they announced that they would retire as high-ranking kings and intended to continue their own business and generate their own income. Many royal fans wondered where the couple would settle, whether in Canada or the United Kingdom. Prince Harry and Meghan took another surprising step when they moved to LA just a few months after their big announcement.

The couple did not disclose their reasons for choosing California as their new home base. However, many have theorized that LA is the perfect place for Meghan’s reintroduction to the entertainment industry. This theory has been weighted somewhat given a new Disney documentary narrated by Meghan. They also now live near the Duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland.

Prince Harry and Prince William are reported to be rebuilding their relationship

Prince Harry has not been as visible as Meghan since moving to LA, and many reports claim that he was having trouble in his new environment. COVID-19 forced him to stay in the house more than ever, and the pandemic became personal to him in the spring when his father, Prince Charles, was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.

It could have been his father’s diagnosis, along with his persistent loneliness that prompted him to reconnect with his older brother.

“There have clearly been some pretty big cracks in this relationship, but things have gotten better and I know that William and Harry are in contact on the phone,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight in May. “They made video calls together, they made a lot of family birthdays, and I think since Prince Charles is not doing well, the brothers really made the call go and answer.”

According to a new report, Prince Harry “relied” on Prince William as he tried to adapt to his new lifestyle in LA. US Weekly, citing an insider, reports: “Moving to a completely different country is not easy for anyone, not even Harry. And he hadn’t expected to face so many obstacles. “

The report says Prince William understands how Prince Harry fights and advised his brother to move somewhere else once things calmed down. “William advised Harry to return to London or move to a safer place,” says the insider. “He is concerned about his brother’s well-being and safety.”

The report also reveals that Prince Harry speaks regularly to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The monarch is reported to have “contacted Harry to see if he was well and offered to help if necessary.”

The pandemic appears to have had some positive side effects for the king, even though he had to go through some particularly difficult times to get to this better place.

“I think there is a sense of relief on both sides that this high drama is now a thing of the past,” said Nicholl in the Entertainment Tonight interview mentioned above. “The Sussex people are free to continue their new lives [and] The Cambridges can go back to their old lives without all the excitement and drama that was clearly a big deal behind the scenes.
