While the spotlight has shifted from PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds to Fortnite in recent weeks, the former is trying to regain some of the battlefield's royal attention with a few new updates and content. The first, released on Friday, is a special, time-limited game mode revolving around a new flare gun during next week's first gameplay on PUBG 's newest card, codename: Savage , to be seen] Those who play the four-player squad mode PUBG this weekend can try out the new event mode of the flare rocket. As the name implies, flare pistols can be found around the map, and when they are fired into the air, a drop is triggered to bring the team a package full of weapons and armor. As this is one of the first tests of PUBG limited time events, the flare mode is only available this weekend. Players have only until 1
Next week, the latest PUBG codename: Savage card will be released, promising a completely different gaming experience than the two existing cards. Unlike Erangel and Miramar, who both measure 8km by 8km, the new map is only a quarter of that size and runs 4km by 4km.
This smaller environment promises to accelerate the game's royal action, but developers are finding that the card is still in an early alpha state, so it only gets a time-limited preview. The alpha test will be conducted on April 2 from 7:00 pm to April 5 at 4:00 am and only for a limited number of players. More information about players' participation on Monday
