Queen Elizabeth II visits a pop concert on her 92nd birthday

LONDON (AP) – Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 92nd birthday with a concert on Saturday night in London featuring British singers such as Sting, Tom Jones and Jamie Cullum.

Kylie Minogue, Shaggy and Craig David are also performing for the Queen's Birthday Party at the Royal Albert Hall.

Elizabeth – the world's longest reigning living monarch – will be in the audience along with other members of the royal family. It is expected that Prince Harry will address his grandmother in his new role as President of the Commonwealth Trust of the Queen Tribute.

Earlier in the day, Hyde Park, the Tower of London, and the City of Windsor honorary soldiers performed the occasion.

The Queen celebrates two birthdays each year: her actual birthday on April 21, which she usually marks privately with her family, and her "official birthday" in the summer. This usually applies to the second Saturday in June, when she joins the military parade "Trooping the Color" in London.

Elizabeth's official birthday took place this year at the meeting of Commonwealth Heads of State Commonwealth countries held together in England.

The Queen has led the disunited group that consists of Great Britain and its former colonies since they also won the throne in 1952.
