MSNBC's "Rachel Maddow Show" and some Congressional Democrats used a misleading video to attract Attorney General William Barr, a Washington Free Beacon report from Wednesday.
Maddow played a clip about the exchange between Barr and Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., From a hearing in early April on the report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Her show tweeted on Tuesday night from the clip.
At this hearing, Barr Van Hollen replied that he did not know whether Muller agreed to a "conclusion" on the report. As reported by Free Beacon reporter Alex Griswold, Van Hollen Barr questioned his findings about allegations of violations of justice.
