Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford believes that lack of consistency damages the club's prospects of traveling to Anfield on Sunday and have just won two of the last seven games in all competitions.
It was an impressive performance in their last Premier League game against Fulham, in which Rashford scored a 4-1 win in the midweek Champions League midweek defeat.
Rashford, who also met in Spain on Wednesday, is aware that United lacked consistency and is determined to get it right.
"It's always a good feeling To see the ball hit the back of the net, I was still happy in the last game (against Fulham) (with the performance)," he said on the official website of United. 1
"The Christmas season is always busy, so consistency is the main thing. The look of the season can change in just a month, so we need to get the points and continue to improve. "
United has not lost against Liverpool in the league since David Moyes was in the lead and the Reds fought for the title under Brendan Rodgers, but they go into the game on Sunday as heavy outsiders.
It's United's fifth game in December, and they have three games left before the end of the month.
But Rashford said the support of the club's fans helps to ward off fatigue.
"I think they are the ones who give you the energy because you are sometimes dead," Rashford said.
"If you can hear them bumping you, it will give you that extra boost, again to go and I think that's hard to explain, because the adrenaline overhauls the action and you find that extra energy boost.
"Fans need to know that when we're tired, we get ten times faster when we're late in the game harder for us if they do not sing or chant, but they did so to make things easier for us. "
