RCMP has released a surveillance video showing two teenagers from Port Alberni suspected of killing three people in northern British Columbia.
The video features 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky and 19-year-old Kam McLeod as they walk through the aisles of a McLeod wearing black trousers and a blue T-shirt reading "Cathulu" while Schmegelsky enters Camouflage shirt with button and camouflage pants. 19659002] The police said the video was taken on Sunday, July 21st. In the area of Gillam, Man., Where they were last spotted, a search for teenagers is conducted.
McLeod and Schmegelsky are charged with second-degree murder in the death of 64-year-old Leonard Dyck from Vancouver. Dyck's body was found on a highway exit, two kilometers from where the teenagers' burned-out Dodge pickup truck was found on Highway 37 near Dease Lake on July 1
The two are also suspects in the murders of 23-year-old Lucas Fowler from Sydney, Australia, and 24-year-old Chynna Deese from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Their bodies were discovered on July 15 on the Alaska Highway, 20 kilometers south of Liard Hot Springs. Fowler and Deese had been exploring North BC. in Fowler's 1986 blue Chevrolet van with Alberta license plates found at the scene.
The police announced that they had posted the video in the hope of getting more tips.
