Country star Reba McEntire sang with ex-president George H.W. Bush's funeral Thursday. The performance seemed to bring his son, former President George W. Bush to tears.

The Kennedy Center Honoreebecame emotional during the performance at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas.
McEntire tweeted about her performance and described the deceased president as a "great friend and leader."
"It was an honor and a privilege to sing today at the funeral of President George HW Bush," the star wrote on Twitter: "I'll never forget the time we shared."
McEntire posted several photos of her and the former president, with whom she had a longstanding friendship, on Instagram before the Performance.
The singer used the hashtags #greatpresident and #greatfriend in all posts.
The country quartet The Oak Ridge Boys also performed at the funeral and sang "Amazing Grace."
During the service, the coffin railroaded to its final resting place in its presidential library at Texas A & M University College Station, Texas.
