GameSpot – 9 / 10

"While Red Dead Redemption focused mainly on John Marston's story, Red Dead 2 is about the entire Van der Linde gang – as a community, an idea, and a raging death rattle of the Wild West. about Arthur, but as the lens through which one views the gang, his very personal, very messy story sustains a larger story: some frustrating systems and a predictable mission structure serve this story well, though it requires patience to understand and understand why. "Red Dead Redemption 2" is an excellent prequel, but it's also an emotional, provocative thought. It's a story of its own, and it's a difficult world to leave when it's done. – Kallie Plagge [Full review]

"Red Dead Redemption 2 has undoubtedly raised the bar for narrative open-world games and will likely have a lasting impact on how they will be made in the future, What We Understand Is Possible in a Video Game It seems that every time we get something new from Rockstar things inevitably change: at Red Dead 2, this shift will be defined by an experience that works hard for the player to convince oneself are not necessarily committed in a video game or a set of rules that dictates a particular genre. " Is this Rockstar's best game, a new masterpiece besides the original? There are too many reservations and too many mistakes in his heart to leave me completely convinced, is this his richest, most beautiful open world? There is no doubt about that. – Martin Robinson [Full review]

IGN – 10/10

"Red Dead Redemption 2 stands shoulder to shoulder with Grand Theft Auto V as one of the greatest modern-day games, a ravishing scene of an ugly period Being patient, polished, and having a huge amount of fun to play with, it is still combined with Rockstars best storytelling to date, even after completing the tedious story, I can not wait to go back and play more of rare quality, meticulous polished open-world ode to the outlaw era Looking for one of the best single-player action experiences of this generation? Here's your huckleberry. "- Luke Reilly [Full review]

GamesRadar + – 5/5 [19659009] "How good is Red Dead Redemption 2? In recent years I would argue the only games that deserve to be considered in this area are Ultra Elite Level GTA V, Metal Gear Solid V and The Witcher III. This is a cool 5/5 classic that combines brilliant writing – Rockstar's Houser brothers deliver another stunning, scythe-sharp script – amazing technology and a story told so well that in a crucial scene you're emotionally more into a horse investing money than you did for Kratos this year in the stellar God of War Revival. If you only buy one game this year, it must be this wondrous quest in the Wild West. "- David Meikleham [Full review]

The Guardian – 5/5

" There is no doubt that this is a milestone game. It's a new high-water point for lifelike video game worlds, though, but this world also houses a narrative portrait of the Wild West that is unexpectedly bleak and is not afraid to take its time. With a few exceptions, the many stories that land Rockstars tell authors about this group of outlaws, perfect Pleasant twists of individual missions and chapters that culminate in an exciting, challenging and exciting narrative – and the stories that you discover in their own world are no less convincing: Around 2,000 people work very hard hard (in some cases maybe too hard)) to make this game possible. Each of them should be proud of his contribution. "- Keza MacDonald [Full review]
