The Redskins revived Adrian Peterson's career and then gave him a big new job. And now, in his first game in 2019, he will not be on the pitch.
Sources say Peterson may be an inactive surprise as the Redskins play against the Eagles today. After rising 1,042 meters last year and averaging 4.2 meters per rush on a comeback season, Peterson is expected to watch from the sideline.
