Reporters and activists pile up after an anti-fascist attack on journalists

Some used social media to ridicule the journalist who was attacked by Antifa on Saturday while reporting on demonstrations in downtown Portland, Oregon.

In a viral video, Antifa protesters are seen as they cursed Andy Ngo, who later tweeted that he had to go to the emergency room. According to Ngo's lawyer, he had a cerebral hemorrhage and was hospitalized overnight.

The Portland Police tweeted that some of the apparently milkshakes were actually filled with fast-drying containers of cement.

Ngo's tweets about his attack were ridiculed, while others accused him.

When Jake Tapper tweeted that Antifa has a long history of attacking journalists, people went after the CNN anchor.

Some cleared their initial tweets after watching the severity of the attack, such as Parker Molloy, editor of Media Matters for America.
