Within ten months, Stephen Miller, the White House's senior policy adviser, reportedly sent at least 46 e-mails to a Breitbart reporter containing materials from the Think Tank Center for Immigration Studies hosted by the US government Southern Poverty Law Center has been distributed as a hate group against immigrants since 2016. The revelation was released Wednesday by the SPLC, according to another report released Monday, in which Miller prior to the 2016 presidential election on the right-hand website published white-collar staffing material would have. Katie McHugh, a former Breibart reporter released from the site, has told the SPLC that Miller has been introduced to her to help shape her reporting. "We used [CIS material] to create a narrative in which immigrants of color were not only dangerous, violent individuals, but also an existential threat to America," she said. "We never checked anything. We never called other organizations to get a different perspective on these studies … It was understood. Just write it down.
