Diners and buffets like iHop and Ryan's were open for business on Christmas Eve.

"We're family at work, we're family out of work, we're all trying to keep in touch, so we decided it was cool for everyone to just meet and have breakfast on Christmas Eve," said Montez Hazel, who had dinner with IHOP on Christmas Eve.

Samurai Steak & Sushi: Open from 11:00 to 14:00. and 4:00 pm to 10:00 am Christmas Eve, then 4:00 pm to 10:00 am Christmas Day
Steak & Shake: Open 24 hours on both days
Waffle House: Open 24 hours on both days
