Parks and Recreation Co-founder Mike Schur does not rule out a return to Pawnee – but he has some conditions before undergoing a possible revival.
"I think we live in the world right now, nothing is ever gone," Schur said on Thursday evening on the occasion of the show's tenth anniversary in a PaleyFest jury. Shur sat down next to the cast and added, "Everyone on this stage – and like six other people – should feel like there's a story to tell.
" There was nothing I loved more than at the show. I would never never say, "Schur continued. "The chance to do it again would be incredible. But I think we would only do it if we all felt that there was a compelling reason. … [Each cast member] would have a veto. If a single person says no, we would not do it. However, Schur went on to note, however, that the NBC comedy fulfilled its purpose, and stated that had Parks and Rec "It's an argument to make, and it was about teamwork and friendship, to be optimistic and … to believe in the power of the civil service. If you work hard, lower your head and believe in the people around you who are part of your team, good things are possible. I do not feel like we left something on the table. I feel that the show has argued.
