Senator Bob Menendez – Democrat from New Jersey – announced that two nominations, including Adrian Zuckerman's, were suspended for the time being until they were answered by the White House.

Adrian Zuckerman was admitted to the Bar in New York in 1984 and is currently partner of the international law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He has worked for over 30 years in the representation of multinational, national and local real estate companies. Zuckerman was also a judge in the Real Estate Council. He is also a board member of Kids Corp., a nonprofit organization that helps underprivileged children in Newark, New Jersey.
