Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will dodge abduction charges
The abduction case of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has taken a turn ̵
1; Law enforcement authorities state that the LA district attorney's office does NOT sanction him with a kidnapping charge. .. but he is still not out of the woods.
TMZ has learned of the incident of the "Jersey Shore" star with its baby mom Jen Harley – where he allegedly pulled her to the ground against her will – does not meet the prosecutor's criteria for Kidnappings, even though the police arrested him for that very reason. The maximum penalty is 8 years.
We've learned that the LAPD insists that Ronnie be targeted by domestic violence instead … based on Harley's evidence and alleged injuries. The maximum penalty is 4 years.
According to our sources, however, there is also the possibility that Ronnie will only be charged with an offense by DV … which would be an even greater stroke of luck for him. The maximum penalty for this is 1 year in the county jail.
We've broken the story … Jen is said to be seriously injured and scratched by the recent fight with Ronnie and there are photos of the injuries, but he denies inflicting them and tells another story about how she was hurt.
Neighbor's Surveillance Video shows no physical damage to Jen She is clearly very scared. The law enforcement tells us that she was injured at some point after the event was shot on video.
Regardless, the LAPD received a Emergency Response Order against Ronnie on the basis of Jens' claim that he would kill her so he had 100 yards from Harley and her daughter, Ariana stay away. This order has now expired.
After this period, however, he has performed some father-daughter-times at Disney World.
The wavering couple says this time … they are finally dissolved .
