The current "Roseanne" season, technically the 10th of the show, includes nine episodes, seven of which have not yet aired. The next season of "Roseanne", which will be screened by ABC as part of the 2018-2019 series, is currently scheduled in 13 episodes.

The TV industry will keep a close eye on the performance of "Roseanne" as the season progresses: Will there be a decline in viewership, or will all media lately hold ratings relatively high? ("Will & Grace", for example, lost 30 percent of its live audience between the first and second week – but the show helped close the gap with the late viewing.)
Even the over-rated review success of the first episode could help To reverse a losing streak: ABC has remained in last place among the four major transmission networks over the past two seasons.
