The last time we saw a phone leaked it was maybe.
Not only several Russian-speaking bloggers seem to have gotten their hands on the unpublishedmonths before its anticipated October debut, they have not just spoiled virtually every detail you want to know ̵
This video concludes a week in which, thanks to Eldar Murtazin's cell phone, we already have virtually a full review of this leaked device had -review.com. In addition to a complete unboxing of the phone, he already had time to publish a fierce camera comparison of Google's new flagship against the newly released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and.
But before we look at Murtazine's revelation, we have to thank the Russian blog Rozetked for the first big leak: everything from the design of the phone (and its notch) to features such as wirelessly uploading the demo website in a video on Twitter .
It was also Rozetked who first shared what could come in the box with the phone. You can use a USB-C charger (with a European adapter), a quick-switch adapter (to transfer data from an earlier phone), and wired headphones with thedesign with dual-adjustable cables see loops to hold them in your ears. (Note that the .)
Unfortunately, the USB-C headphone and the USB-C-to-Audio Jack dongle recommend that the Pixel 3 XL has no headphone jack – none of the pictures shows one. So did Pixel 2.
If you look closely at the label on the headphone jack adapter, you'll see "DVT Samples" in it, which could mean that the pixel is a Design Verification tester. Model is – an early sample that probably should not leave the company.
The Pixel Headphones also have a @ googel.com email address (write down the typo email address) on the label, which makes the leak a little more patchy. Our e-mail address bounced off when we tried to send an e-mail to this address. Keep that in mind when you consider the possibility that this could be a smart fake.
If you look closely at the camera app icon (see above), you will notice a small paw print. We're not sure what that means exactly, but it seems new. Maybe the camera app has a pet mode, or maybe it's a new pixel feature regardingor .
The blogger also noticed that the Pixel 3 XL comes with a high quality camera. To show it, he took pictures with the phone in London and posted them on his Instagram with the # Pixel3XL hashtag.
The phone that made these images has a 12.2 megapixel rear view camera with f / 1.8 aperture EXIF data from images that match those of Pixel 2. The EXIF data also points to an 8-megapixel front camera with aperture 1: 1.8. However, it does not identify the model of the phone.
The pictures gave us a clear view of the notch on the phone (and its sensors) and a look up the phone the settings. You can see a reference to thefeature of the phone, which was also on the Pixel 2.
The Leaker has also posted other images that refer to specifications such as a resolution of 2,960×1,440 pixels and a specific Qualcomm processor
So what did Murtazin have to add to theseleaks ?
First, he says his own Pixel 3 XL was sent with explicit instructions to members of Google Pixel Team about keeping their device safe outside the office – something that is both amusingly ironic and more leaky Confers legitimacy.
He says it has a high-quality OLED screen that measures 6.2 inches diagonally, which is not necessarily bright enough to work in bright sunlight, and indeed with a plastic and a something smaller battery than the Pixel 2 XL, though he says he had no trouble keeping it charged.
He also shows that Google's new USB-C earphones include a button for calling Google Assistant's specifications, such as a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of memory, and 64GB of storage space that it still has will have squeezable pages () and that it will retain the same 12.2 and 8 megapixel camera resolutions, but now with H.265 / HEVC video for more efficient use of the memory.
The Surprising Part of it is that, despite Murtazin's thorough eye, he did not find it anymore. The phone seems to be quite similar to the Pixel 2. For example, he claims that his unit does not seem to have a face-up option – despite its new iPhone X-like notch.
We just have to wait and see if there's anything more exciting in the store – let's say these rumors about "super-selfies" – this October. And hopefully history is how these phones.
