The Ryanair passenger, who filmed a tirade on an elderly woman on a flight, apologized and denied that he was a racist.

When asked if she accepted the apology, Mrs. Gayle said, "I do not think you have to forget and forgive, but it will take a long time to get over what he did to me."  Carol Gayle said, "He says he is not racist, he would not say such words if he were not racist."

"Unfortunate and Unacceptable"
In a statement released Friday morning, the airline said it was on the 20th Was informed of the incident on October 9 and reported the video to the Essex Police at 9:00 am BST on October 21 along with the details of the passengers involved and had written to Ms. Gayle the same morning.
It said the company's Spanish cabin crew was aware of a dispute between two passengers, but were not aware of the racist comments until they were. The video was shown after the flight in London.
The crew had followed the company to defuse an argument that was to separate the passengers by offering to move them to alternative seating. It was said that at her request, Mrs. Gayle had been transferred to a place next to her daughter, and both passengers involved in the altercation confirmed that they were "in order."
The airline said it had both an e – mail and a letter to Mrs Gayle at 11am BST on Sunday to apologize.
In the statement, Robin Kiely of Ryanair once again apologized for the "unfortunate and unacceptable comments" made by an adjacent passenger to Mrs. Gayle. Ryanair immediately reported this incident to the Essex police and apologized in writing to this customer on Sunday morning and sent it to the treated urgency and seriousness, "he said.
Essex police are currently investigating the incident, and Mr Keily said it gives the troop their "full cooperation and help."
The incident took place on the runway at Barcelona airport before the plane leaves for Stansted, and the police have indicated that it will forward information to the Spanish authorities in due course.
