Stocks lost early gains after some US officials worried that China would reject commitments it made with the US on trade talks.

US Government bond yields rose before FOMC meetings. The yield on the 2-year note, which moves inversely to the price, rose 1.7 basis points to 2.473%. The yield on the 10-year note rose 1.5 basis points to 2.616% at 16:10.
