EUGENE – The best college team in America beat the best team in the world.
Sabrina Ionescu scored 30 points, and Satou Sabally scored for Saturday's Oregon No. 1 Mathew Knight Arena in a stunning 93-86 game by Team USA 25.
Ionescu scored 30 points from Oregon's third quarter 20, including a catch-up to bring the Ducks to 68-67 in the final frame.
"We just wanted to try to stay within 20," said Ionescu, "… as we progressed we forgot who they are and what their expectations are of us."

Sabally had 16 points from Oregons 25 points in the fourth quarter, including a 3-pointer that made it 79 points 69 with 6:51 before the end, followed by another layup to open a 12-point lead
"They sensed one Suddenly, when Sabrina hit a damn shot near half the place and Sabally hit a low 3. Suddenly, the swing swung with, "said Team USA coach Cheryl Reeve. "We could not get it back from them, they played great, we were disappointed that we had more than enough of them (34-29), but overall it was a great day for women's basketball."
