Recent reports claim Samsung Galaxy S9 sales have not been overwhelming. It's not hard to imagine why, if it's true. Although it's an excellent phone in itself, it's hard to justify the leap from the Galaxy S8 to the Galaxy S9, because apart from a new variable-aperture camera, what else has changed? No wonder then that Samsung is apparently done with the design of the next Galaxy S series phone.
Galaxy S10 Improvements
The Galaxy S10 is getting some pretty nice improvements over the Galaxy S9, but unfortunately no drastic changes in the design department. This does not mean that the Galaxy S9 has a bad design. It does not. In fact, it's one of the nicest-looking phones out there. The problem is that things in the smartphone world are moving so fast that some things get pretty tiring after about a year. However, you can not complain about the gorgeous infinity display that continues with the Galaxy S10, reports the South Korean publication The Bell.
Like its predecessors, the phone will have both standard and "plus" models, which are supposed to be slightly sportier larger displays than the Galaxy S9 – 5.8 inches for the base version, 6.3 inches for the Plus version , The display design is apparently completed and will go into production this November.
3D Camera and In-Display Fingerprint Scanner
Aside from a larger display, the phone will also have some new exciting features, one of which is supposedly a 3D sensor camera located on the front of the device a la Face ID will sit on the iPhone X. As a result, Samsung will increase the security of the phone. Whether Samsung wants to adapt a Notch design, however, remains indefinite.
Another important feature is the fingerprint scanner, which, according to the report, is mounted under the display on the back of the device. In-Display Fingerprint Scanners were first introduced by Vivo and Synaptics. You will most likely appear in flagship from 2018.
Samsung is reportedly working with Qualcomm, Aegis Tech, and Synaptics for fingerprint technology, while Mantis Vision and Woodgate are reportedly partners with the 3D camera components.
Other important details such as processor, memory, memory and camera still have to be determined.
