This weekend we have the latest case of a company tweeting its products from an iPhone. This time Samsung has tweeted an advertisement for the Galaxy Note 9 from "Twitter for iPhone".

Samsung's Nigerian Twitter account shared the tweet announcing the Samsung Galaxy Note 9's Super AMOLED display. The tweet was first discovered by tech reviewer MKBHD .
Since MKBHD discovered the tweet, Samsung has not only deleted the tweet itself, but also the entire Samsung Nigeria account. It was previously housed in @SamsungMobileNG but now this account is nowhere to be found.
It seems like the Nigerian Samsung account is the only one who made this mistake. The Saudi Samsung account shared a similar tweet earlier this month, and was also sent by Twitter for iPhone .
It should also be noted that the 6.5-inch OLED screen of the iPhone XS Max was generally considered to be better than the Galaxy. The panel of Note 9 makes this tweet all the more awkward.
This is certainly not the first time a person or company has tweeted praise for an iPhone rival while tweeting their iPhone. Recently, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot tweeted Twitter for iPhone for the Huawei Mate 10.
LG made fun of the iPhone 6 Bendgate debacle a few years ago. In 2016, Donald Trump called for an Apple boycott while tweeting from his iPhone. Accidents happen, but these "via Twitter for iPhone" games are always funny.
