Score Panthers Vs. Buccaneers: Carolina wins behind five interceptions from Jameis Winston

The Carolina Panthers failed to avenge their defeat in the second week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 37-26 win over their NFC South rivals on Sunday in London. Carolina are now in the lead 4-2 and half a game behind the Saints, while the Bucs drop to 2-4 after losing for the first time in a row to head coach Bruce Arians.

Six turnovers – including five picks and a forced fumble with Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston – were the deciding factor in Carolina's fourth win in a row after a 2-0 start to the season. Conversely, the Panthers received another outstanding performance from quarterback Kyle Allen, who dropped two touchdown passes and improved to 4: 0 as a starting quarterback.

The defense of Tampa Bay posted sales in the first game when James Bradberry passed Winston's pass attempt to Mike Evans. The Panthers, who converted their first sales of Joey Slye into a 49-yard field goal, took the lead with 1

7: 7 thanks to two Christian McCaffrey touchdowns, the first of which ended a 99-yard journey.

The Panthers retreated from the Bucs in the third quarter. After a 46-yard field goal by Slye, Luke Kuechly's choice of Winston deep in Tampa built Curtis Samuel's eight-yard touchdown run, which extended Carolinas lead.

Tampa Bay tried to make it a game at the beginning of the fourth game. Cameron Brates's 10-yard touchdown catch and Evan's two-point conversion catch made it a two-ball game. And although the Bucs allowed a field-goal after a botched jump-off, they narrowed their deficit to 4:47 after three meters of Dare Ogunbowale and Winston's two-point conversion to 11.

The Bucs' comeback bid, however, ended at 2:23 Ross Cockrell intercepted Winston's fourth down pass.

While throwing for 400 yards, Winston also threw a career-high five interceptions after coming into play in Tampa's first five games of the season with just five picks. His favorite Sunday was Buc's receiver Chris Godwin, who led both teams with 151 yards on 10 receptions.

Bradberry led the Panthers with 10 tackles and two interceptions while Gerald McCoy scored 2.5 sacks against his former team.
