Serena Williams believes she is being discriminated against with the frequency she has to undergo through drug testing. Williams admitted to Twitter on Tuesday that she was re-selected for an anti-doping test.
"And it's that time of the day to get 'random' drug tests and only test Serena, and it's been proven by all players that I'm the one who gets tested the most At least I'll keep the sport clean, "Williams tweeted.
"But I'm ready to do whatever it takes to have a clean sport so keep it up I'm excited", she added] Williams, 36, also complained about drug testing before Wimbledon and pleaded tennis officials to test all the same. The comments come just weeks after Deadspin reported that Williams was the best-tested tennis player.
"I'm fine with testing and encourage it," Williams said. "It's all about being the same and not centering a person"
