Sheriff: Jayme Closs to be with relatives

BARRON COUNTY (WKOW) – The Sheriff Department of Barron County confirms that Jayme Closs was found alive and was informed by the Douglas County Sheriff's Department that she had found Jayme Closs alive.

Fitzgerald says shortly after Closs was found, a suspect was arrested. The authorities did not identify the suspect.

Jayme Closs's aunt, Jennifer Smith, says her family is relieved that Jayme was found. Smith said she hopes she'll see Jayme on Thursday night.

Closs was found in the town of Gordon in Douglas County at 16:43. According to a press release from the Douglas County Sheriff, a suspect was arrested at 16:54 in the town of Gordon.

Beth McDonough, a reporter at KSTP, the ABC station in Minneapolis, said Quelle told her that a woman walked with her dog in a sanctuary when a girl came running up to her and screamed that a man was her parent had murdered. The woman informed the authorities who answered.

MCDonough said Jayme was taken to a Duluth hospital where she was checked out. Her relatives were on the way there on Thursday evening.

Fitzgerald says Closs will reunite with her family on Thursday night.

The authorities say they can not provide any further information because it is a "very fluid and active" investigation. The Sheriff Department of Barron County wants to release more information on Friday at 10 clock.

Closs had been missing since October 15, when her parents were found murdered in her home in Barron.
