"We always had ways in which people could control your data," he said, but now Facebook put it at the top of all news feeds and made it easy to erase it. "All these controls were there, they were hard to find for humans, we just made them easier."
Sandberg said again that the reports of Russians who use fake accounts to spread misinformation, the 2016 election are not seeing it coming.
