E3 2018 is on the horizon, and as was to be expected, the rumor mill has been working overtime. A game that has garnered much attention in the run-up to the E3 is the upcoming major title Pokemon for Nintendo Switch. We know very little about the game at the time, but there have been many rumors claiming that we are still engaging in a revelation.
It turns out that there could be something to these rumors when there is a new report from Pokemon fan page Serebii is to be believed. In a tweet released this morning, Serebii says the Japanese variety show Oha Suta will air on Thursday, May 31
That certainly sounds as if Oha Suta would be the first true details about Pokemon for Nintendo Switch. In the period since Serebii shared this tweet for the first time, Oha Suta's website has been updated to remove the above statements. Now all we have to do is get a "full Pokémon information" segment.
Pokemon for Switch is perhaps the biggest question mark in Nintendo's E3 presentation. We know that Nintendo will show the new Super Smash Bros game for Switch during the show, but beyond that, we have no idea what it's going to reveal. Assuming that the rumors we've heard lately (and today) are correct, we may not have to wait until E3 to see Pokemon switch in action.
Obviously take what you have about Pokemon for switch with a grain of salt. When the game was announced last year, Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said it could take a year or more before the game can be released. So it is not foreseeable when we will get the revealed Pokemon fans craving. However, we will have an ear for more, so stay tuned.
