The trial for a man convicted of murdering a woman in Ohio broke out in chaos on Thursday when the victim's two sons attacked the handcuffed defendant in the courtroom.
Dale Williams, 62, should be convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Pledger Stewart in Youngstown, Ohio.
However, just before Pledger Stewart's daughter tried to explain in court about the effects of her victim, both sons rushed to Williams and broke the former officers who tried to intervene. Court cameras recorded the entire brawl on video.

"He killed my mother, man," said the son as the deputies handcuffed him. "That was my mom! She took care of me, brother, when no one else did. "Williams pleaded guilty to killing Pledger Stewart in 2017. Investigators admitted that Williams had been waiting more than 45 minutes for Pledger Stewart to drive past her. Youngstown's WKBN-TV reported he could cut her off and shoot her.
Both sons were arrested and held in jail for 30 days in defiance of the court, Youngstown's WFMJ-TV reported. The hearing of Williams is postponed due to the disruption.

Additional officials were detained in the courtroom on that day, as officials had expected "some tension at this sentencing hearing," said Mahher sheriff Jerry Greene to WKBN.
"From all that I can see, the officers have acted appropriately. In fact, in my opinion, I did a pretty good job, "he said.
