(CNN) – Four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles spoke to reporters Wednesday about her fight to continue her sport for an organization that did not protect her – and many others – from Larry Nassar's abuses. "You had a job, you literally had a job and you could not protect us," she said of the USA gymnastics.
Biles spoke to reporters championships after a training session in Kansas City, Missouri, prior to US Gymnastics.

On Wednesday, Biles was questioned about her recent tweet in response to an article about a congress. According to reports, several institutions could have stopped Nassar.
"The more I learn, the more I hurt, USAG has failed us, USOC has failed, many have failed, and they have continued to let us down," Biles tweeted.
Biles told reporters that because of the deep mistrust caused by the Nassar scandal, she struggled to look after herself and see the doctors and therapists associated with the organization.
"It's difficult to come here for an organization because it has so often left us," Biles said. "We had a goal, we did everything we asked, even if we did not want to, and they could not do a single damn job." and have learned from the mistakes of the past.
"We at USA Gymnastics have made great strides in improving our athlete safety practices and the primacy of our athletes, but we know we have more to do," said Li Li Leung, president and "One of our goals is to that our athletes feel at ease when they voice and share their opinions, we listen to what they have to say and we will continue to work hard.
