If you have not heard, the starting quarterback of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team is a finalist for a trophy.

Word of the day:
The Fall for DWAYNE I do not want to spoil the fun, and you should all get involved in the ceremony anyway, but Dwayne Haskins will not lift the Heisman Trophy tonight – but that does not mean he should not do it.
I do not like how the #Heisman is decided at all. The fact that so many votes were cast before the last games is a farce. Still, it's a great honor, and although it's not, I think Dwayne Haskins deserves to win it this year. #OhioState

Haskins is basically locked in third place at this point and seems to be honest as an afterthought win it, or are At least in conversation.
By Barrett Sallee of CBS Sports:
"He has a historically great season in the Big Ten, perhaps the best season in the Big Ten history of a quarterback.
51 touchdowns in total – combined with Kyler Murray – that's a big-ten record. 47 touchdown passes – that's a big ten record. 4,580 yards – that's a big ten-record.
And he did it for a Ohio-based team that did not block too well over the course of the season, somehow forgot how to lead the football occasionally, and experienced all the turmoil that went into the season with Urban Meyer. Dwayne Haskins was a kind of stabilizer in all of this.
In addition to a peak season, he led the team to a conference championship and he led them through a hard time through his first full season as a start quarterback. It is really impressive. "
I think my beef does not necessarily have to be won by Haskins, as I think Kyler Murray and Tua Tagovailoa are both well-deserved, but this should not just be seen as a two-man race.
And guys, I have support for that.
that's disrespectful … https://t.co/3yE966lfbr

Since the media do not want to make a case for Dwayne, I suppose … pic.twitter.com/L5uvJwqYU3

I think the other plot here is how absolutely crazy all three finalists are, when the guy described above is decidedly in third place.
I think Dwayne will just have to wait until next year.
HAPPY TROOPSGIVING. The Buckeyes are not playing today, but the troops are doing it.
As citizens of the beautiful country, both defend, I am impartial. But I assure you that this game will have my unshakable and undivided attention, thanks to the incredible idea of giving the game its own day.
One of my worst #Takes of all time originally hated the Army Navy Saturday because it made the game meaningless in terms of bowls and postseason rankings, as the leaderboards and matchmatches were decided last weekend.
I was totally wrong, that's great.
Troopsgiving allows the game to be the spectacle it deserves to be and to have the audience it deserves, as no other games compete with each other. And they wear absolutely amazing uniforms every year, and this time around, it's no different.
Marine uniforms pay homage to their timeless mascot Bill the Goat:
And the shoulder shows an incredible battle cry, which NavyTimes.com explains:
On the underside of the jersey is the famous last sentence of Navy Capt. James Lawrence embroidered. These words became an unofficial outcry of the maritime service after his demise.
While commanding the Chesapeake frigate in June 1813, Lawrence and his crew engaged the Royal Navy frigate Shannon. In fierce fighting, Lawrence was mortally wounded by small arms fires. But before he succumbed to his wounds, Lawrence told his officers, "Do not give up the ship. Fight against her until she sinks. "
And then there are the glorious threads of Army, which are perhaps the best football uniform I've ever seen.
The Big Red One, when the division was known for its then-prominent shoulder badges, embraced President Woodrow Wilson's promise to the Allies at the time of its founding in 1917 by more than 28,000 men from four infantry and three artillery regiments. a division would be sent to France.
The Force, which was twice the size of German divisions on the Western Front, would become the first permanent division of the regular army that fought in the Great War.
The Big Red One was also the first division that had won an American victory in World War I, a decisive defeat of the German forces at the Battle of Cantigny, a small village north of Paris.
You nailed the helmet absolutely:
According to BTM, the Big Ten Conference will make Oklahoma & Texas its main target for expansion for 2024/2025.
Let me explain as well as I can what BTM told us on Saturday night.

The guy is a writer from Minnesota who claims to have a source that probably knows a lot about the Big Ten conference. I can not vouch for the rightness, but if that's your business, he has a full set of tweets explaining how, why, and when.
Personally, I think that would make a lot of sense for the Big Ten, especially after reading his tweet storm, which earned valid points. I'm just not sold, that happens.
They speak of the two largest teams in the Great XII. It's not like they're trying to steal Kansas and Baylor. They will not leave the other Big XII teams without a kind of fight.
As a consumer, Ohio State's regular matches against Oklahoma and Texas are absolutely fantastic.
