Solus 4 has officially established itself as the latest version of this popular desktop Linux distribution, known for its "Budgie" design environment. It lent some performance optimizations from Clear Linux and several other features improvements in usability and more to enhance the desktop experience.
Solus 4 "Fortitude" was released as a major update on Sunday and packs an updated GTK-based Budgie desktop, Firefox 65, LibreOffice 6.2, kernel Linux 4.20.16, GNOME MPV 0.16 and Mesa 19.0.
New to Budgie Desktop is a "caffeine mode" that ensures that the system is not suspended / locked / dimmed, and other minor enhancements to make the experience "hard at work" and attempting to stay uninterrupted to become, to improve. Budgie 1
