A friendly Samaritan has concluded the closure of Toys & # 39; R & # 39; Us for the kids of North Carolina who do not want to be grown up a bit easier.
The future youth of America will never know the overwhelming sense of joy as she runs through the corridors of the giant toy chain. After bankruptcy filed in September, more than 700 Toys & # 39; R & # 39; Close us stores for good.
An anonymous person bought $ 1 million worth of toys from a Toys & # 39; R & # 39; Us reported in Raleigh, North Carolina outlet CBS 17. According to employees who work in the shop, the toys are to be donated to children from the region.
Instead of opening the store one last Friday, employees spent the day packing crates and putting them on a lorry for the generous person.
Customers looking for last-minute deals were greeted with closed doors, though some did not seem to mind hearing the news.
"Oh, that's so nice, I'm glad to hear that," Erin Sampson said to CBS 17.
"That's great, I'd like to know who it is," Danyel Smith said.
It is unclear when or how the purchased toys will be distributed to the children.
