The son of a couple stabbed to death in his home in Englewood, which they shared Saturday afternoon, was charged with murder, district attorney's office said Sunday morning.
43-year-old Pawel M. Boduch is being charged His parents, Edward Boduch (71) and Miroslawa Potocka (72), were killed. He is charged with murder and possession of a gun for illegal use.
The couple was found on Saturday night at their home on Lafayette Place. Both had multiple puncture wounds. The police found her during a social check on Saturday at 10:52 am requested by a family member who could not reach the couple for several days, prosecutors said.
There is no motive for the murder. Pawel Boduch, a Polish-born, living with his parents in Lafayette Place, was not present when the police found his parents' bodies. He was arrested by the police later that afternoon when they found him in a ShopRite, less than a mile from the family home, to his car, said Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes on Saturday.
