Sony "looks at the possibilities" to allow cross-play in Fortnite, after the game giant has controversially blocked the function on the PlayStation.
Earlier this month, players were upset when the tech giant blocked cross-play capabilities between its PlayStation 4 system and the Nintendo Switch, so PS4 players can not log in to Nintendo's mobile console when they played on a PlayStation.

Shawn Layden, head of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, talked about the incident at a game developer conference in Spain
When asked about Eurogamer's problem and fallout, Layden said, "We hear it, we look at many possibilities, and you can imagine that the circumstances in the area are much more than just a game." 19659002] "I am confident that we will come to a solution that is understood and accepted by our community while at the same time our business.
The incident was compounded by other platforms, notably Microsoft's rivals and its Xbox console, which provide support for cross-play.
The cross-play block may not be a new guideline for Sony – the company has blocked it for other games like Minecraft – but Xbox and Nintendo took the opportunity last week to use a well timed video to score some points over their rivals, showing how users can play together on their two platforms.
