Sony has announced that it will be offering one of the largest exclusive PSVR games for PlayStation 4 for free this weekend. Firewall Zero Hour is free for PS Plus members on June 28 through July 1 on PS4. In addition, all players will receive double XP for the duration of the free spin weekend, and your progress will be transferred if you choose to buy the game.
Launched in August 2018, the PS4 game is well received. The tactical shooter is based on multiple players, with four teams compete against each other. It usually costs US $ 40 / £ 25 / AU $ 40 – though it's currently reduced to £ 16 / AU $ 25 if you want to own it permanently (in the US it stays $ 40). If you want to download it, it's a separate entry to PSN, which differs from the standard version of the game. You can find it here on the PlayStation Store.
The firewall has also received a number of updates in recent months, from new missions and rewards to a completely redesigned UI. Two new maps were also recently released for free. We said the game "showed that tactical multiplayer FPS games can work with PSVR" in our VR Games Test 201
The free PS Plus games for July 2019 were also announced. The PS4 games that will be available to PlayStation Plus members for free next month are PES 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo.
